Genevieve M. Walton papers
Genevieve M. Walton served as Library Director at Michigan State Normal College from 1892 to 1932, during which time she expanded the size of the collection, the staff, and oversaw the move to a separate library building. She was also influential in the field of library science and co-founded the Michigan Library Association, and served as its first woman president. The collection is dated approximately 1889 to 1999.
